Hackers have found a new critical bug in Steam’s game engine which powers several Valve titles including Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO).
With the new bug, hackers can take control of users systems by simply sending them CS: GO invite links to play the online multiplayer shooter.
The bug was first discovered by a hacking group The Secret Club. As per a video posted by them on their official Twitter handle, the bug is affecting Steam’s invite system where players click on the Invite to play option in CS:GO and hackers can acquire private details and information of those who accept the invite.
